WITHIN TEMPTATION plays symphonic metal that is both so starkly beautiful that you can almost hear the angels sing, and so gothic and gloomy that demonic howls of joy simultaneously seem to pierce the heavens. Over the past 25 years, the band has continuously created and reinvented their own unique sound, which is strongly inspired by the great pop, rock and metal bands of the eighties, with the married couple, Shadon den Adel (vocals) and Robert Westerholt (guitar), as well as Jeroen van Veen (bass) as the supporting forces since the beginning in the late nineties. JAILBREAK’s audience can slowly but surely look forward to the feeling of both twisted stomach knots and chest-swelling sensations when the Dutch superstars' magnificent and emotional music hits the stage this upcoming summer.
